I know I know. It ain't over til it's over. I'm not saying it is. Yes, it was just one debate. I know. Expect and be prepared for the worst. Yes! Ok! I got it, ok?!
All that prescient, responsible wisdom aside, let me just say:
Romney Enjoys A Bounce!!
Why shouldn't we enjoy a little gloat time? Romney kicked some Obama butt!
From liberal Obama supporter Andrew Sullivan:
The Pew poll is devastating, just devastating. Before the debate, Obama had a 51 - 43 lead; now, Romney has a 49 - 45 lead. That's a simply unprecedented reversal for a candidate in October. Before Obama had leads on every policy issue and personal characteristic; now Romney leads in almost all of them. Obama's performance gave Romney a 12 point swing! I repeat: a 12 point swing.
.... Look: I'm trying to rally some morale, but I've never seen a candidate this late in the game, so far ahead, just throw in the towel in the way Obama did last week - throw away almost every single advantage he had with voters....
From the Washingtontimes.com:
In the 11 swing states, Mitt Romney earns 49% support to Obama’s 47%. One percent (1%) likes another candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided.
This is the first time Romney has led the daily Swing State Survey since September 19. Until today, the president had led for 17 of the previous 19 days, and the candidates had been tied twice. This survey is based on findings from the previous seven days, with most of the responses now coming since Romney’s debate win last Wednesday night.
So yeah, I'm enjoying the bounce. Win or lose come November, every day has been a good day since last Wednesday.
Apparently a considerable number of undecided Americans were swayed with knowledge and experience over derision and malarky.
